What makes this different
Many people come to Pilates because something doesn’t feel right.
A stiff back. Tight hips. Poor posture. Low energy.
Then end up in classes that throw out generic exercises, hoping something sticks.
I do things differently…
-
Small groups where you’re actually seen
-
Clear guidance so you understand what you’re doing (and why)
-
Practical exercises you can use in daily life
-
A warm, supportive environment – no egos, no pressure
Simple effective movement that works. Progress you can feel.

Who it's for
Aligned Pilates is for you if:
-
You spend a lot of time sitting and your body feels it
-
You’ve tried classes before but felt lost or overlooked
-
You want to feel stronger without punishing workouts
-
You’re dealing with niggles, stiffness or recurring aches
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need experience.
You just need to start.

What you'll gain
It's not about chasing a certain look.
It’s about how you feel day to day.
Clients often notice:
-
Better posture without forcing it
-
Less tension in the neck, shoulders and lower back
-
Improved strength and control
-
More awareness of how they move
-
A sense of calm after each session
Small changes. Big difference
How it works
1 / Book your space
Choose a class that works for you
2 / Turn up as you are
No pressure, no expectations
3 / Learn what your body needs
Leave feeling better, and knowing how to keep it that way
About me
Hi, I'm Nicky
I’ve been practicing Pilates since 2005, after the birth of my first child.
After 30 years working in mental health services, I retrained as a Pilates teacher in 2025. That experience shapes how I teach – simple, supportive, and focussed on helping people feel better.
I trained (and continue to learn) with Body Control Pilates, one of the UK’s leading Pilates education providers.
Outside of Pilates, you’ll usually find me open water swimming, cooking, or off exploring in a van.
